A South Surrey golfer has been named to Team Canada.
Lauren Kim, who is one of six athletes representing Canada at the 2023 World Amateur Team Championships, will travel to the United Arab Emirates for the tournament, to be held at the National Course at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club.
The women’s competition is scheduled for Oct. 25-28, after the men play Oct, 18-21, with Kim, 18, joined by Monet Chun, 22, of Richmond Hill, Ont., and Katie Cranston, 19, of Oakville, Ont.
